As we expand our impact, we’re seeking a flexible, compassionate Floater to support our classrooms and staff in creating a joyful, responsive learning environment.

Position Overview:  

The Floater plays a vital role in maintaining continuity of care across our center. This adaptable team member steps in where needed—supporting lead teachers, assisting with transitions, and ensuring children feel seen and supported throughout their day. Ideal candidates are warm, dependable, and eager to build relationships with children and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage across classrooms during staff breaks, absences, or busy periods

• Support daily routines including meals, diapering, rest time, and outdoor play

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote emotional and cognitive growth

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in alignment with center policies

• Communicate respectfully and clearly with children, families, and team members

• Uphold the values of transparency, kindness, and ethical care in all interactions

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)

• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively in a dynamic setting

• Strong communication skills and a nurturing presence

• Willingness to learn and grow alongside a passionate team

• Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
